Inside Leg Attacks
High Crotch: Attacking the right leg. For the high crotch, you want to create an angle so that their right leg is forwards. Most wrestler's have their right leg as their dominant one, so it would be forwards anyway. You want to snap them down slightly so they'll react and and pop up. That's where you go in for your shot. You take a slight jab step with your right leg to get closer and then go down to your knee. Bring your other leg back up into a position as if you were proposing. While you're doing that, take their leg with your right arm and throw their arm with your left arm. Make sure to keep this arm tight to your own body. The motion of this arm resembles the motion of combing or slicking your hair back. Here you will turn on your knee to end up almost perpendicular to them. This is referred to as turning the corner. You then take the close leg with your left arm, and hook their left leg with your right arm. This is called "doubling up". At the same time as you're doubling up, you stand back up. When you take it down, push them with your body, and pull their legs in closer to you. Keep your head up while doing this because as soon as your head goes down they will sprawl on you. Try to look at their opposite shoulder blade.
Double Leg: The set up for the double leg is exactly the same as the set up for the high crotch, and the shot is exactly the same too. The only difference is that instead of attacking the one leg and doubling up, you will attack both of the legs. You will throw the arm by and turn the corner as usual. Your head should be outside of their body on both techniques.
