Two Point Tilts and Rolls
Cross ankles: The cross ankle is a very good move to know. This is going to be explained if you’re going to cross the left leg over the right leg. So you got behind your opponent, and you can’t do anything on the top half of their body, but you can do something with their legs. To get the cross ankles you want to put your right shoulder in their butt and you want to stay on your feet and put all of your weight on them. You take their left leg and you put it on your left hip. This is called putting it on the table. Block their right knee with your right leg and walk the left leg over the right. Weave your left hand, which was under the left leg, under the right leg. With the right arm just scoop it all up and roll. Use your feet when you roll, or else you’re going to get yourself pinned.
High gut tilt: For this you try to get both of your arms under their arm pits. Try to stay across the chest, since it is a high gut. Bring your arms really tight to your body, like a T-Rex. You can keep your arms clasped on a side, or in the middle. Once you get down to it, it doesn’t really matter. Get one of your legs up while you lift and arch their body. From there you roll to one side and hook your top leg under their hip and with your bottom leg try to push their bottom leg as far out as possible into a split. Remember that tilts only count if you get their body past ninety degrees.
Gut wrench: Set this up by cross facing them onto your arm, which was waiting to get under their waist. Clasp your hands, or wrist, or even elbows. Try to get it as tight as possible. If you clasped your hands try to get them on one side. Drive the shoulder opposite to your hands into their back. Crouch your leg into that same side and pop your hips underneath them. Arch them over yourself like you’re doing a back bridge off your head. After you roll them you should end up one quarter away from where you started.
